Upcoming Session: SESSION 10/2026 Freebirth: How Do We Who Serve Birth Feel About It? with Deborah Faye (Debs) Rhodes

🌀 Talk Description

As more families around the world choose to freebirth their babies, how do those of us who serve birth feel about this growing movement? In this honest and spacious session, Deborah Faye (Debs) Rhodes invites birthworkers to explore their personal responses to freebirth — what it means to them, how it touches their own lives, and how it sits within their beliefs and practice.

Together, we will reflect on the experiences that have shaped our understanding of freebirth, including the families we have supported, the stories that have influenced us, and the inner questions this path brings forward. This is an opportunity to listen deeply, share openly, and expand our perspectives as we consider how autonomy, safety, intuition, and relationship flow through this birthing choice.

This gathering offers space for curiosity rather than judgement — a place to explore how we, as birthworkers, can hold ourselves, one another, and the families we serve in truth, compassion, and respect.
